On March 17, eFederal entered into an agreement with IceWarp, to provide Unified Messaging Services to commercial companies and federal/state agencies. eFS-ICE, unified messaging system, combines traditional email, with Instant Messaging, SMS, VOIP and Collaboration, giving clients a one stop application that provides all communication needs at pricing substantially less than other systems, such as MS Exchange.

On February 23, eFederal Systems presented a webinar on reverse auctions for government contractors. The webinar was hosted by L2 Federal Resources. The webinar addressed the benefits and concerns of using reverse auctions for federal government arena. After the presentation, participants were given an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session.

eFederal Systems conducted reverse auctions for Anne Arundel County Public Schools and Baltimore City Public Schools. Both school systems saved close to 40% on their annual paper purchase. Reverse auctions help agencies save thousands of dollars each year on commodities and services.

The Baltimore Regional Cooperative Purchasing Committee through the Board of Education of Anne Arundel County, has announced the award of their Reverse Auction Services contract to eFederal Systems. The school systems will be using reverse auctions to save significant money on commodities and services.
